CoRR Involvement:

Dr. Bonnet's research will consist of a series of studies that quantify the relationship between ambient illumination, optical structure, and control of postural sway for young and older adults.

On a theoretical level, Dr. Bonnet is investiging postural control in people who have diabetes with or without neuropathy.

Research Interests:

• Postural stability, normal and abnormal posture, and nonlinear time-series analysis.

Research experience:

University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut: July 2006 - present: post-doctorate fellowship in CESPA-CoRR.

University of Minnesota , Minneapolis , Minnesota : August 2003-June 2006. Ph.D: motion sickness and restraint condition. Extensive training in the ecological approach to perception and action.

University of Paris XI, Orsay , France : September 2001-August 2003. Master's student in physiology and biomechanics of humans in movement. Extensive training in the dynamic approach to perception and action.

University of Marseille III, Marseille , France : September 2000-August 2001. Master's student in cognitive sciences. Extensive training in the information processing approach to perception and action.
