A Description of the CoRR

The Collaboratory for Rehabilitation Research (CoRR) is a collaboration of the University of Connecticut's Center for the Ecological Study of Perception and Action (CESPA) and the Department of Physical Therapy.

CoRR is designed to be a bridge between basic research in perception and action and clinical applications of examination and intervention.

CoRR faculty conduct lines of applied research that build off of previous studies conducted at CESPA. Faculty will translate the results of the applied research into validated clinical methods of examination and intervention for older adults and people with movement disorders.

Research findings are shared nationally with other researchers, and are used as a basis for training students, rehabilitation providers and community members.
